Melissa and Zachary were wed on a beautiful January day in a traditional Catholic wedding ceremony followed by a formal ballroom reception. Melissa and her bridesmaids started the day off getting ready at Melissa’s childhood home. Surrounded by some of her most loved family and friends, the girls got their hair and makeup done, enjoyed each other’s company, and shared a moment of prayer before heading off to the big event. Before stepping into her dress, Melissa opened up and read a special letter Zachary had written for her. Melissa’s mom helped her get into her dress and finish up with last minute preparations. She wore an elegant off shoulder ballgown with a cathedral veil, and her winter bridal look was completed with a fur wrap, a pair of long white gloves, and a gorgeous white and greenery bouquet. As soon as Melissa finished getting ready, she had the sweetest first look with her dad where she gifted him a custom embroidered handkerchief. It was such a special moment filled with so much love!

Just as the sun was setting, Melissa and her dad arrived in the limo at the church for the ceremony. Surrounded by their family and friends, Melissa and Zachary were wed in a Catholic wedding ceremony in the amazing Saint Teresa of Calcutta Church. The ceremony had an extra special touch as family members spoke the readings, offered the gifts, and their friends sang throughout the mass. During the entire ceremony, they were filled with so much happiness as they vowed their commitment to each other. After they shared their first kiss as Mr. & Mrs., everyone cheered as they walked down the aisle together.

As soon as we finished up with portraits at the church, we headed over to the William Penn Inn for their elegant ballroom wedding reception. We also took a few portraits outside in front of the beautiful twinkle light adorned trees at the historic William Penn Inn. It was a lovely evening filled with great speeches, fun and laughter, wedding traditions including cake cutting and a bouquet and garter toss, and a great night of dancing.
