Courtney and Donovan were married on a beautiful autumn day at Ironstone Ranch at Stone Gables Estate in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Ironstone Ranch is a beautiful country-style venue featuring a fully restored historic barn, a lovely outdoor ceremony location in an orchard, wooded trails, and horses and steers. There are so many great photo opportunities at this rustic-chic venue! The couple wanted to have a first look and take all of their posed portraits before their ceremony that took place outdoors in the apple orchard. A harpist played beautiful music as Courtney and her dad walked down the aisle, and her sister officiated the ceremony.
I just loved all of the personal touches in this wedding! They decorated the barn with colorful homemade floral centerpieces, with table names referencing characters from some of their favorite TV shows. Their friends made the wedding cake, cupcakes, and floral arrangements. After a fun and relaxing cocktail hour on the patio, the wedding party and newlyweds were announced into the barn to open the reception with their first dance, followed by parent dances. Food truck Julio’s on Main catered for the reception, and the couple had a chance to mingle with their guests while everyone was having dinner. After dinner, the formalities continued with the maid of honor and best man speeches, followed by cake cutting and dancing. Congratulations and best wishes for a lifetime of love and happiness to Courtney and Donovan!
