Chris and Kristen renewed their vows in a daytime wedding at Pen Ryn Estate. I photographed their micro wedding back in 2020 at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, and it was so great working with them again! I was so happy for them that they could finally celebrate their marriage as they originally planned with an outdoor waterfront ceremony and ballroom reception at the beautiful Pen Ryn Estate. The ceremony took place late morning and was followed by a few family photos and portraits. And how amazing is the library for portraits?

The reception was decorated with colorful floral arrangements displayed in scientific flasks and test tubes. Kristen is a scientist, so it was such a creative and personal touch to their wedding decor! After a few portraits, Kristen and Chris were announced into the ballroom to start the celebration. Rather than a first dance, the reception started off with a first song performed by Chris to Kristen. It was the sweetest moment! After the first song, there were a handful of heartfelt speeches. A few other formalities included cake cutting and a bride & groom dance. Congratulations, and best wishes for a lifetime of love, happiness and adventure to Chris & Kristen!
