Katherine and Stephen were married on a beautiful October day at Skytop Lodge in the Pocono Mountains. Skytop Lodge is a stunning mountain resort nestled in the Poconos. This luxurious venue features a large Dutch Colonial-style manor house and multiple ceremony and reception location choices. Katherine looked amazing in her Randy Fenoli gown paired with a Spanish mantilla veil and a beautiful blush bouquet. Katherine and Stephen opted to do a relaxed first look, which allowed us to take all of their portraits before the ceremony so they could enjoy their entire cocktail hour!
The ceremony took place in Skytop Lodge’s Formal Garden. Katherine’s father walked her down the dramatic staircase and the flagstone aisle to Stephen, who was filled with happiness as he saw her walk down the aisle. The ceremony was officiated by Reverend Ellyn Kravette, and Katherine and Stephen shared vows they wrote for each other. It was truly a beautiful and special ceremony. After they were wed, they headed off to cocktail hour to celebrate!
The reception took place in the elegant Evergreen Ballroom, and Veronica Martell Entertainment’s live band quickly got the party started. After Katherine and Stephen were announced into their reception, they kicked off the night with their first dance. And I must say, it was one of the best things I’ve ever seen! It was non-traditional, fast-paced, and filled with impressive dance moves. The reception also included some wedding traditions including toasts, parent dances, and cake cutting. The band kept the party going all night, and they even played some traditional Armenian songs which got everyone up on the dance floor. Congratulations, and best wishes for a lifetime of love and happiness to Katherine & Stephen!
