Katya and Alex were married late November at the Black Bass Hotel in Lumberville, PA. The Black Bass Hotel is a quaint countryside venue overlooking the Delaware River in scenic Bucks County, and perfect for intimate weddings.
The celebration started as The Happy Bagpiper piped outside the Black Bass Hotel as guests arrived for the ceremony that took place outdoors on the river deck. As soon as the guests were seated, the bagpiper led the processional as Katya arrived to walk down the aisle to Alex. They had a lovely ceremony that began with a Russian Orthodox moleben (prayer service), followed by a civil ceremony. After they tied the knot, everyone happily cheered for the newlyweds.
After some portraits around the hotel and garden, Katya and Alex were announced back onto the river deck to kick off the reception with their first dance. And since they met salsa dancing, they performed an amazing choreographed salsa dance for their first dance! After their first dance and some more dancing, everyone headed inside for lunch. The afternoon was filled with good conversation, emotional speeches, dancing and much laughter. It was such a wonderful wedding!
Congratulations, and best wishes for a lifetime of love, happiness and adventure to Katya & Alex!
